ISEE Test Preparation
The ISEE is used for admission to independent schools across the US and internationally, at Lower, Middle and Upper levels. Its sections map cleanly onto the four skills OjasaLearn teaches.
ISEE sections and OjasaLearn
- Verbal Reasoning — synonyms and sentence completion; part of our Verbal Reasoning strand, with spaced-repetition vocabulary.
- Quantitative Reasoning — word and logic problems; covered by our number-logic and estimation work.
- Reading Comprehension — passage analysis; covered by English comprehension practice.
- Mathematics Achievement — computation and concepts; covered by Maths in Skill Academy.
- Essay — unscored but sent to schools; OjasaLearn builds the reading and grammar base underneath it.
How preparation works here
Scores are stanines (1–9) per section against a norm group, so preparation means real fluency, not a single "pass" number. Learn each section's methods, drill them with fresh questions, then sit full timed mocks. OjasaLearn is not affiliated with ERB or the ISEE.
ISEE or SSAT — does OjasaLearn serve both?
Yes. They overlap heavily; the same practice supports both, and OjasaLearn adapts to your child's level.
