Maths Practice
Regular maths practice builds two things at once: accuracy and speed. OjasaLearn teaches each topic with an animated lesson, then drills it with timed questions and full mock tests, so a child develops real number sense rather than memorised tricks.
What it covers
- Arithmetic — addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, mental methods and written methods
- Fractions, decimals and percentages, and converting between them
- Ratio and proportion, and sharing in a ratio
- Early algebra — expressions, simple equations, sequences and patterns
- Geometry — area, perimeter, volume and angles
- Data handling — tables, charts and averages
- Multi-step word problems and 11+ Maths topics
How the practice works
Most questions are multiple choice with four or five options, matching the format used in standardised and competitive assessments worldwide. Difficulty adapts as a child improves, weak topics are surfaced automatically, and worked solutions explain every step. Short daily sessions of 15–20 minutes build fluency faster than occasional long ones.
What age is this for?
Roughly ages 8–11, from core arithmetic through to early algebra and geometry, with difficulty that adapts to the learner.
Is it only for the 11+?
No. The same skills underpin school maths, scholarship and entrance tests, and numerical-reasoning aptitude tests — see entrance-exam preparation.
