Science Lab
Science Lab is a suite of 36 real physics and science simulators, built for both primary and secondary school students. Every lab runs the genuine formula behind the phenomenon — change one real variable and watch the correctly-computed result, not a scripted animation.
Nine categories, all 36 labs
- Mechanics (5) — Race Lab (a drag-and-drop track: ramps, surfaces, boosters, jumps, bumpers, levers, springs, a pendulum), Buoyancy Lab, Hydraulics Lab, Fluid Dynamics Lab, and 3D Space Lab (with its own real cube-packing challenge).
- Electricity & Magnetism (4) — Circuits Lab, Electromagnet Lab, Generator Lab, Motor Lab.
- Heat & Thermodynamics (3) — Heat Lab, Thermal Expansion Lab, Heat Engine Lab.
- Light & Optics (5) — Light Lab, Reflection Lab, Lens Lab, Photoelectric Lab, Black-Body Lab.
- Waves & Sound (3) — Wave Lab, Resonance Lab, Doppler Lab.
- Gravity & Space (3) — Orbit Lab, Escape Velocity Lab, Black Hole Lab.
- Biology + Physics (5) — Ear Canal Lab, Arm Lever Lab, Muscle Lab, Neuron Lab, Eye Lab.
- Nuclear & Atomic Physics (6) — Decay Lab, Atom Lab (Bohr model), Nucleus Lab (Rutherford scattering), Matter Wave Lab (de Broglie), Uncertainty Lab (Heisenberg), Quantum Box Lab (Schrödinger).
- Relativity (2) — Time Dilation Lab, Mass-Energy Lab.
One lab, three real depths
Every lab has checkpoint questions at three tiers, so the same simulator genuinely teaches a Year 7 student and an A-Level student:
- Easy (KS3, Year 7-9) — plain-language cause and effect: what just happened, and why.
- Medium (GCSE, Year 10-11) — naming the real law or relationship, and reasoning about proportionality.
- Hard (A-Level, Year 12-13) — plugging real numbers into the real formula and checking the result.
Real gamification, real leaderboards
Science Lab runs on the same XP, coins, streaks and badges as the rest of OjasaLearn, with leaderboards for race times and lab mastery.
Is Science Lab included in every plan?
Yes — all 36 labs are included free in every plan, including Basic.
Is Science Lab for primary or secondary students?
Both. Every lab's Easy tier is written for KS3 (Year 7-9), Medium for GCSE (Year 10-11), and Hard for A-Level (Year 12-13) — the same real simulator suits a wide age and ability range.
Do the labs use real physics, or a scripted animation?
Real physics. Each lab computes its result live from the actual formula for that phenomenon (e.g. the real de Broglie wavelength, the real radioactive decay curve, the real escape velocity, a real black hole's Hawking temperature) — not a pre-baked animation.
